Tanya Solov currently serves as the Director of the Illinois Securities Department. She began her career with the Securities Department in 1994 as the Senior Enforcement Attorney, and served as the Assistant Director for Enforcement until becoming the Director in 1999.
From 1989 to 1994, Tanya was an Assistant Attorney General of Illinois practicing trial and appellate litigation in State and Federal Courts. Prior to her career in government, she was a management consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Tanya serves as the chair of the Legal Services committee of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) and is a member of NASAA’s Regulation Best Interest project group. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Securities and Business Law Section Committee.
